Pretty happy with the place. Price are good and we ordered the breakfast menu. Large portion and the scrambled egg is really creamy I like it!
Avery Cafe is one of our favorite spots for a comforting meal, with their baked rice and baked spaghetti always hitting the spot. The Baked Pork Chop with Tomato Sauce Rice has a nice balance of sweet and tangy flavors, and the Shrimp and Lobster Sauce Baked Spaghetti is rich and flavorful, with lots of juicy shrimp. Prices are reasonable, and their happy hour menu is a great deal. The portions are a bit smaller and don’t come with soup, but its still filling. You can see a slight difference in size, comparing the pork chop (regular order) to the shrimp (happy hour), but it’s still satisfying. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
We decided to order 3 rather different dishes to try. Congee was silky and flavorful and pairs well with the rice roll. My son enjoyed the personal sized bbq chicken pizza and my husband found the noodle dish very savory. Staff was attentive and polite.

Avery Cafe in Richmond. The Pork Hock Meal with Soup & HK Style Tea: 24.95. Pretty Good for the price. The Pork Hock was moist inside with a crunchy skin. Service was friendly & typical of a HK Cafe.
If you never been to this restaurant, you should go. The beautiful French style decoration will surprised you in a HK style restaurant. The food they offer is HK style western food. The menu is big. I think the best food they offer are the baked and grilled items. The crisp pork knuckle is good. The meal comes with rice or spaghetti, salad, soup and hot drink. The price, quality, portion are good. We have half of the pork bring home good for next meal. The breakfast is good with a super reasonable price. I order the porridge and plain fried noodles. The porridge is good but the noodles is not hot enough and small portion. The staff are friendly. The food may takes little longer. Enjoy your drink first.
Avery Cafe in Richmond is an absolute gem and my favorite HK style restaurant! The elegant classic decor truly sets it apart, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The stunning chandeliers – four grand ones in the dining room and three charming ones near the cashier – along with the beautiful white grand piano, white and gold crown and fluted moldings, and hardwood flooring elevate the entire experience. The menu is incredibly extensive, offering everything from all-day breakfast and lunch specials to enticing chef recommendations and Mix and Match options. The extra Crispy Roasted Pork Knuckle is a must-try! I also savored the mouthwatering three-course mix and match with pan-fried chicken steak, prawns, and basa fillet – a truly heavenly dining experience. Love everything about Avery Cafe!
The breakfast here is delicious and reasonably priced. My kids love the french fries and salty pepper chicken! I always bring my friends to enjoy it! The servers are nice and friendly.Update...the chicken hotpot with Chinese herbs tasted so good.
